How are you? Any snow in your area? We did get some heavy snow this morning! I made this birthday hat for one of my nephews, his birthday is coming up soon! I used the Party Hat and the Party Hat Trims Dies from Papertrey Ink to make this, so fun! And, this is a great way to either use up your patterned paper, or a great reason to buy new! ❤️ My fringe is made from tissue paper, and I had some yellow yarn in my stash, for the pom-pom. I also made a tag, I’ll share a picture of it. Have a wonderful evening!
Hi there! I hope you’re having a great Sunday! I learned how to run the cameras for our church’s live stream this morning! I’ve started on our May birthday cards, here I used the In Stitches Pocket die from Ink to Paper Company-so cute!, stitched up with a summer sunrise color. I filled the pocket with some abundant Blooms and some June Corner Adorner Berries. The sweet leaves are from Prominent Petals, and the butterfly 🦋 is from Color Pop Butterflies. Have a great rest of your weekend!
Good morning! I am so happy it’s Saturday, it’s been a long week! How about you? Here’s a slimline card I made using Ink to Paper Company’s sweet Prominent Petals, I love those dots! I used Dark Indigo, Pure Poppy, and Americana inks, and Bitty Big papers for the “binding” and the lining of the card. I am so happy to have some creative time this weekend! Enjoy your weekend!
Hello! I hope you had a wonderful Easter! I made this card for a good friend of mine, one is my very best besties, she, her friendship and her faith are truly amazing. I tucked some Ink to Paper’s Prominent Petals into my In Stitches Apron that I stitched using Bright Buttercup cardstock. My sentiment is from Dandelion Wishes Sentiments. Have a great night!
Hello friends! I think that my studio is one of the happiest place on earth! I was so happy to have a little creative time after work today. A friend is having a birthday, so I made her this pop up Flower card using Ink to Paper Company’s new Pop-up Envelope and a Lush Bloom, So pretty to work with! The pop-up elements that are included in the pop-up envelope dies are truly amazing, and seriously make your flower pop up when the envelope is open! So fun! I used Sweet Blush card stock and some superfine glitter on my flower after stamping it. Those sweet sweet dots on the card are from Prominent Petals, super fun! I lined the envelope inside with Pencil Me In patterned paper and some Sweet Blush Bitty Big paper. The sentiment is from Prominent Petals. Then I tied up the envelope with some pink tulle. I hope you’re all having a great week! It has been a bit long!
Hello, everyone, happy first day of Spring! I wanted to share with you these felt flower hair clips that I made, someone asked me to make them for her so she can include them in all the many shoeboxes that she is filling this year for The Shoebox Project. She thought little girls would love these, and even better, she thought that they might be inspired to make their own! So to make them, you need four layers of flowers: a larger diecut flower, two of the next size down flowers folded in half, and then a smaller flower on top, followed by a button. I hot glued them in the center, and then I hot glued a clip on the back, so they can be barrettes or they can be clipped onto a jean jacket or something, So super cute! This is a great idea for the Shoebox Project, and anytime you need a little gift!
Hello! How is your March going for you? My son started back to school full time (!) this week, so it’s been a little rough, but he’s SUPER excited about March Madness which starts tonight! Here are a few more Easter cards I made for the Greeting Card Ministry at our church. The backgrounds were made using Waffle Flowers’ Heart Blooms Stencils, just so fun to work with! I had the Cross die-cuts on hand and embossed them with an embossing folder. The Easter die cut is brand-new from The Greetery, along with the sentiment, love them! I noticed the CUTE slimline envelopes that Betsy Veldman used for some of her projects in her new release, and just fell in love with them so I found these! Have a great night, friends!
Hello! I hope you’re having a wonderful Sunday! Our online service is finished, and I thought I would share these little Easter baskets that I had made 5 years ago (!) – before I was on Instagram – using the large pocket die from Papertrey Ink’s Build a Softie kit. Super Fun to stitch up these little gifts or bowl sitters, and a great way to use some of your patterned papers! I attached the handles with small brads. Have a blessed day!
Good morning! Happy Saturday! The birds are chirping, and it’s supposed to be about 60° today! Maybe a little rain, but I love my rain boots! I love the new Lush Blooms set from Ink to Paper Company! Here I used some Bright Buttercup and Summer Sunrise papers, along with Limeade Ice, and From Tim Holtz some Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide. And some super fine glitter. I really cannot wait to create more with the set! Have a blessed day!
Hello! I have a little break today, so I thought I would share this Painters Apron card that I made for a friend who loves to paint. This is more of Ink to Paper Company’s Stitched Apron dies, which I love, and this time I tucked in a Paint Palette and paint brushes by Paper Smooches, along with a pink Forget Me Not from The Greetery. I filled in the paint palette with actual paint that I had on hand, and then I covered the paint with some glossy accents and used my heat tool to dry them, they came out very full and kind of crinkly. The inside lining is from Simple Stories-Cozy Days, so love that paper! Have a lovely afternoon!
